This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team to continue to build a service to support schools to fulfil a Statutory responsibility providing specialist independent careers advice and guidance to young people with SEND. The role is complex, and the post holder will require high level skills and knowledge both in the careers sector but also within SEND as the learners will range from having SEMH to speech language and communication needs.

The post holder will be expected to build effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders in order to understand their needs and tailor services and advice accordingly. Initially this will be across PRUs/SEMH schools then broadening out to work with a variety of settings to include: mainstream, specialist INMP and specialist provisions beyond Somerset.

This role will contribute to young people with SEND being able to live their best adult lives possible

We have a training centre in Yeovil but work across the county and beyond.
